I agree with Yogi, where you live has so much influence on your personal tastes.
London didn't work for me once I hit 35, wanted different things. Where I am now I have space, climate, seen the police in my neighbourhood once in 3 years, 20 min drive to work and home by 5.30.

London = Rabbit hutch 350K 60 hours a week people stabbing you at every opportunity to take your job
Vs
10 miles outside of Northen shithole city in beautiful countryside with decent job in 4 bed detached home with garage and lovely garden that cost you 350K
Go figure.

According to MoneySuperMarket’s Quality of Living Index, which assess the UK’s 12 largest cities on factors such as house price and rent affordability, salaries, disposable income, cost of living, unemployment rates and life satisfaction, Edinburgh comes top.
So as has been pointed out the list has not been composed by people who actually live in these cities. It's more a value for money list than anything else because if Edinburgh really was the best place to live that is where all the oligarchs and multi millionaires would be. Oddly they're still in London.

Surely you also create your own quality of life....You can be a cunt wherever you are , much like you can be a decent person in the same way - these fucking polls are done by people that have never lived in these places and the responses are by people who have probably never lived more than 20 miles from where they were born...So it's all a load of bollocks...And YES I am fucking right!!!

Bradford is alright. Gets a bad press.
Belfast is my favourite city in the world.

If you lived near the Victoria Cross you lived in Little Ilford not Manor Park.
Plus you must be wrong in the head if you would rather live in Luton than London.
Or poor and on the dole and unable to afford the excellent quality of life the best city in the world offers.
